Thanks for reply I don't use FB I will wait till I see what my neurologist as to say again thank you.
Hi I am sorry for all the pain you are in. When I had cancer I started to look at alternatives to medications because I wanted to get away from pharmaceutical products wherever I could. At Maggies I learned about deep breathing techniques for pain control. Also mindfulness which I thought sounded airy fairy but does really help. Uvula mentions turmeric which is good, also ginger. I drink a daily glass of hot water with a spoon of raw apple cider vinegar and a spoon of raw heather blossom honey stirred through. Check out an anti inflammatory diet. There’s loads of good information on line. I find reflexology once a month also helps. Keeping warm, gentle stretches and gentle movement. Nothing is a cure but all combined seemed to help make things manageable for me at least. I used to be a very outdoors person, camping, hillwalking etc but because of the widespread nature of the arthritis all of that is beyond me now. I can’t work anymore either. It’s all been a massive readjustment that I am constantly working on but for me taking the natural route for managing it seems to be working at the moment. I hope you’re neurologist comes up with some positive outcome for you.
