Hi , Just over 2 weeks post THR and one of my Surgeons rang me yesterday to say they had detected an infection and have been put of massive doses of of anti-biotics for SIX weeks!?, this was my fourth THR and never had problems before so would really welcome your experiences, thank you

Have you had orher bloods to check if your white cell count is low making you more prone to infection ? I hope this lot of antibiotics works as you must be feeling run down 🌸

Thank you for your reply, as a lifetime Ankolosing spondylitis sufferer inbalance of white/red is quite common, and yes am struggling to get though this and strong anti-biotics make you feel c×××.......my best wishes to you
