Hi everyone! I'm Kelley and I've been dealing with arrhythmia's for the last 19 years, after my dx with Graves Disease. I've gone from PVC's to pac's to ectopic beats. Normal ECGs and echo. They scare the heck out of me. Dr isn't concerned but there are times they freak me out. Looking fwd to talking with others dealing with cardiac arrhythmia's.
Hi everyone!!: Hi everyone! I'm Kelley... - Heart Failure Sup...
Hi everyone!!
Hi Kelly K
Its on the increase.I have P.A.F.and on Flecainide.
Side effects not good but feel ok most of the time. Just can t lose weight.
What is your Graves status?
I was in remission for 16 years. Now I'm on meds again. My lab values are edging towards to hypo range on very low dose tapazole. Might be heading towards a second remission.
Wow. I figured being able to go into remission would make everything right?!
Do you still have Graves antibodies?
It's been awhile since those were checked, so I'm not sure. My therapy has been based on my thyroid lab results. I would have thought so to. But I've read that once your heart gets "used" to a certain rhythm it almost becomes habit. I've always been asymptomatic so no tx has been implemented. I do take atenolol to keep my HR low.
Thanks kelley for sharing!
Been mulling over what you said about the heart getting used to a certain rhythm.
I just read an article that said CBD can reduce arrhythmia's. It's really good for the heart and it lowers BP. Seriously considering trying it. What are your thoughts? Ever considered it?
Sorry what is CBD?
Sorry for the delay in responding. I don't seem to get all notifications of comments! 😕
CBD is a marijuana type derivative that has no psychotropic affects. So, you don't get "high". Check out Google. I bought a small bottle but have been too chicken to try it. Premium Jane is the website that I used. It's, at least, worth reading up on.
