I love the "be who you really are" comment. I mean it's all the right advice....but I think many of us here have to put a front or a wall to deal with things. To be my own free spirit again would be awesome!

Hello again I understand how you feel knowing your situation and in you doing this front, it helps you be different in your putting on a brave face, for your family, understandably so been terminal I'll, just to let gerrerd know what you mean, I feel we all have different sides to us we have our nurturing side for our children or pets out serious sensible side for work and life's tasks, our fun playful side for leisure pursuits, were a combination of our different selves and of course our spiritual side feeling in tune with the universe etc I guess balance is the key, I'd love to just be my own free spirit but I wouldn't be here I'd be banned 🙄I'd be too silly and childlike as would gerrerd no doubt🙄and so many others I know, I remember working early as a cook in care home I'd feel tired groggy and couldn't be bothered but I had to go in serve breakfasts in the dining room with a smile good morning what would you like bla bla my cheerfulness made them cheerful and this in itself me smiling and been cheery and seeing them this way made me happy to be there, 😁so what I'm saying is sometimes the front we put on can have a positive effect, 💛🌟🐼🙏have a peaceful Sunday

Appreciate the advice. I am terminally ill and don't have that much time life. Panda was just trying to explain that I need to put on a brave face for my husband and kids. I will have lived never fully healed from trauma which makes me very sad. I didn't fully struggle with depression until my diagnosis. I have always had GAD, but that was manageable for me throughout the years. It's a question of how I spend my time until the end....and it needs to be with my family doing the best I can to leave my mark on my kids.
What I mean is its possible to turn it round other people have been at your stage and completely recovered, For instance a Doctor was told he had lung cancer and it was terminal. He died ! They where clearing out his office and found some old x rays of his lungs, over 20 years old, They looked at them and the cancer was advanced already on them. So did he Die of cancer or being told he would. !!!!!!!!!!
I'm just a bit different. I have autoimmune conditions and one that has only been reported in 25 people. I'm sure others have had it undiagnosed. One is relapsing meaning it can't go into remission. My immunosuppressive meds wrecked my organs and prednisone wrecked my bones. I fight every day as I have over 20 doctors and various types of therapists. So I am fighting it, but it can't go away. I am working directly with the NIH here in the US. I think the above framework depends on the person. If you are a negative person, I think you can will yourself to death with a diagnosis. I'm not a negative person in anyway. I'm fighting, but when your doctor says to get your affairs in order, you know you need to at least be prepared. My kids are still quite young and I can see how my illness impacts them every day.

As you know I know your story and it is very complex and something's cannot be cured by mind visualising but I understand gerrerds only trying to help as always, and you have the children to deal with I think it's very in-depth the kind of mind thing gerrerds talking off I've seen TV programmes on this and my personal opinion is it's not easy to do not is meditation, I think you both best drop the subject now as whats right for some isn't for others, sending hugs to you both and wish you both a peaceful Sunday I'll talk more with you about your next ordeal you mentioned regarding your teeth ordeal due to your illness 🤗💖

Hi Roddy his pm doesn't work you have to go in his profile press chat then do message then tell him, and then to read his the same the alert chat message will show on you on but you can't get into it unless go in his profile again press chat then the chats come up, how are you, I nervous last day today my cheque is waiting to clear in my bank from building society they wouldn't let me do a digital transfer without photo ID direct to solicitor so the check will clear midnight tonight then I go in morning to bank they will do the digital transfer to solicitors 2 hours to clear then the sellers 2 hours, hope ok for completion day Wednesday I get the keys, nightmare over LOl I wish you a peaceful day 🤗pixie sends a hug 😹xx don't forget I'm here on pm if you need, I'm thinking your ref to your husbands dementia, some storms just can't be weathered with all the good will and mind power in the world 🌈

Thanks Ray! Epigenetics - I know I heard that word somewhere. Will look into it but I'll have to wait until my computer gets repaired, lot of things wrong with it I think. Thankfully I can get HU and a couple of small blogs I go to but can't get mush else - it shuts itself down, goes into power save mode all by itself even though it's set to never do that. It's ok. I talk more about on some actual disease sites and the chronic pain site. I am slowly coming to terms with it all. Just want to do the best I can for my kids as their father is a tough pill to swallow. I just want them to have some pieces of me to hold onto.

Hi there's I can't give my surname my dad had black curly hair green eyes and a Irish temper, im placid unless pushed too far 😂 my mother's name was knight she things she's related to the Knights of the round table 🙄 how I don't know😂I'm a bit nuts as in humour like my dad and the Irish they say 😁one of my favourite comedians was Dave Allen he'd sit there with his whyskey, cracking jokes I have green eyes that's common Irish trait isn't it, well I hope Wel chat again I'm having a lay down sort my headache out think thunder on its way it's bad have a good night 😩💖🌹
