I find that some gaming apps (like Panda Pop and Chess) provide an escape from negative thoughts and intermittent relief. I recommend such outlets that offer a relaxing and healthy means of distraction.
I just started with nOCD For those of you who have it. It seems very well thought out.
CBT-icoach. Helps tremendously with sleep and trauma and negative thoughts. Another one: Thought Diary. isleep Easy. Take a Break.
I use the free Calm app to reduce stress and anxiety.
I have found that when someone responds to one of my posts,I feel some sort of relief just because someone is there.
Going to check out some of these apps. And Bekay, I agree, it's great when someone responds!
I sometimes use Question Diary for prompts to write and thus process events and my feelings at whatever particular time, but confronting stuff head-on can be triggering sometimes, so try cautiously. ^^
I use the Cross Stitch app from Google Play store. It's essentially kind of like color by number but with letters and numbers. You can make some very beautiful pics and It really calms my anxiety level down. I just found it a couple weeks ago and have made some pretty pics. Before that I would play Solitaire when I got overwhelmed. Something about the familiarness of knowing what is coming seems to help.
Headspace is an amazing app x
I use Headspace as well!! Helps alot!!
Headspace, 10% Happier, Anxiety Relief, Calm, The Anxiety Guy, Pacifica....there are so many. I keep them in their own little folder and open it as needed when things aren't so good.
Youper and Let's Meditate
I use Headspace at least once a day. His voice is very calming. Struggling with some of it though.
