Probably - I have been itching too, and assumed it was the sun.

As someone on new medications for Afib, I've been itching lots in the recent sunny weather and have wondered too whether there's any connection, or whether it's just the sun. I definitely had an actual sun rash on my arms for a few days and I'm going to try to stay out of direct sunshine, and moisturise lots to see if I can get rid of it.

I am on lifetime warfarin due to a PE a few years ago. In general warfarin makes me itch but the itching is worse in the sun. During any hot weather I use a factor 30 or 50 sun cream which helps and also moisturise at night.

Just my way of coping with the itching, hope it helps.

Interesting. I have been getting it by skin, no rash, on wrists in the sun. I had been unsure what was causing it but on Apixaban for life.

Hi,This is so weird, I am just getting over "nodular Perigo" and every time I go in the sun, I start to itch, that night I will scratch my arms of.

The itch is almost unbearable and as I say its like daggers being pulled up my arms and head and chest.

Turns out I'm, allergic to the sun. Who would of thought that.

I've never had anything like this in my life and it juts started out the blue, about three years ago.

I'm gutted as I have to wear long sleeves in this beautiful sunshine, slap on the factor 2000 sun cream ( 🤣.) and sit in the shade.

Perhaps worth a chat with your doctor if it's changing your life the way it has changes mine.
