ACUK have been asked by the University of Derby to help with a survey of patients with atrial fibrillation. They would like to get the opinions and experiences of patients, in the form of a Patient and Public Involvement group, to inform future research, with the aim of improving well-being in AF patients.
If you would be interested in taking part please see below from Dr Elaina Taylor.
Atrial Fibrillation Online Patient and Public Involvement Meeting
Do you have a clinical diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF)? Would you be interested in being part of a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group, and steering future research on well-being in AF patients?
We are looking for patients who are willing to share their experiences of AF and well-being in two online group meetings. These meetings will last approximately 3.5 hours (with a 15-minute break) and will be attended by around 6 other AF patients. The online meeting will be led by a researcher from the University of Derby. Prior to the meeting, you will be sent a set of questions which should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete, and which will form the basis of your online discussion.
To thank you for your time, we will give each participant £30 in Amazon vouchers for each meeting.
If you are interested in participating, please contact the researcher: Dr Elaina Taylor at: e.taylor3@derby.ac.uk.
