Itching

Did anyone else experience itching and prickling all over with pes I have had it for weeks now and is driving me mad

I did. It coincided with my taking Warfarin and having low blood levels of Folic acid (probably also caused by the WRfarin). I changed anti coagulant and had a prescription for folic acid and the itching stopped.

I also have low levels of folic acid, have been on warfarin for 5 years now and also get itchy! I did not realise there's a connection. I have to take liquid folic acid every day now.

I also have to take liquid folic acid each day , it's 4 ml of 50mcg/ml strength. What dosage do you take?

I have also had a lot of itching, all over but didn't realse there could be a connection with the warfarin.

Hii, yee i have a problem but not on a regular basic or time. I have on my feet, and it evening mainley..some time i dont have for weeks. . Ages ago i was told by a a doc it was due to poor circolation and smocking was the cause.. good look to us all Don

I'm not sure why I'm itching I'm still waiting to see a dr not seen one yet hopefully can get some answers soon

Hi, I did and had itching and hives all of my body which was stopping me from sleeping. I went to the GP and was prescribed lotion to ease the itching and anti-histamine.

Quite a common problem with warfarin unfortunately.

I had the itching before taking the tablets it was through tests to find out why I was itching I found I had pes again but the dr said that’s nothing to do with itching

Yes, I had unusual itching around my wrists starting approximately 3 weeks prior to my diagnosis of DVT and PE. I was not on warfarin when I experienced this extreme itching.
