Hi Micran.

CoaguChek meters carry out an internal quality control test with every test. The procedure adopted by my GP Practice which uses a "multi-user" version of the CoaguChek XS is to have a check test carried out by a traditional laboratory once per week. The normal procedure for a single user CoaguChek XS is to have a correlation test done at the GP or anticoag clinic on the same day as your test once every 6 or 12 months to ensure it is reading correctly. Hope this helps.

Every six months at some hospitals but best to check this out with several hospitals or Roche Diagnostics.
