So I am now almost 1 month into recovery from predominantly BN but also AN. I am going through moving to another country and the stress from that i.e finding a place to live, finding a job and all that. I am without professional help because it is just not financially possible right at this moment. I am not sure if I am suffering from extreme hunger or I am just trying to deal with my emotions through constantly snacking and eating. I feel like in the past month my life eating has completely flipped from restriction to binge eating.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to deal with emotions without falling back into the binge/purge cycle.
I am eating all the time. And i just want to find a healthy way to deal with my emotions properly.
I really am at a lose.

What a lot to be taking on board. Suggest a call to the ABC helpline might help - they are really knowledgeable and supportive. Have you tried writing out a daily meal plan - I found it helpful as whenever I felt like snacking I referred to my plan - which included 3 main meals and 3 snacks - I found it easier to eat what I needed and not keep picking when I stuck to the plan. Good luck with everything. Do seek help once you've settled.

I am so sorry things are difficult for you. This sounds like you are dealing with extreme hunger, which is part of the healing process. Please don't get discouraged, at this point your body is not only needing calories to run day to day, but also make up for the backlog of calories you deprived your body of during your disorder. There is a ED recovery coach named Tabitha Farrar who posts on YouTube who provides a lot of information about the ED recovery process. Her work has been really helpful to me
