Hi I’m gaining weight but in order to do this I’m still counting my calories although I’m eating around 2500 and I don’t mind going over this I still find myself counting and thinking about the calories in everything any suggestions on how to stop or is it ever possible to stop

I did this too. Personally I think it is a good way to ensure the minimum is being met. Regarding the thinking aspect I tried two ways - 1. having a mantra to say to myself when the niggle appears to stop any dwelling. The more you do this the more it will naturally replace the unhealthy thoughts and when your brain becomes more balanced due to the continued nourishment, you shouldn't have to do it at all. 2. Routine and a meal plan. I tried a varied one so I didn't have to fuss too much over calories. Hope that helps?
Yes this makes so much sense thank you so much for the idea of the mantra that actually helps so much and I think I will have to try find a proper nutritionist with a meal plan despite the cost it seems like the best way xx
