Experiencing Dark thoughts

Although an incredible level of support and advice exists in this community it is anonymous, online and not professional in nature. In a critical situation anonymous, online advice carries the risk of misjudgement and harm, however well intentioned. We would usually have to stick to our rule of taking down this type of post for safety’s sake.

Expressing dark or suicidal thoughts can possibly trigger the wider community so we would urge anyone feeling desperate to definitely seek professional support and services that can provide the appropriate level of advice to get through their situation.

It is also very important to be aware that impulsively taking too many or mixing medications can be very dangerous and we really again would urge anyone considering this to access professional help to maintain their safety.

Please hold on and do not give up hope. If there’s no one at hand you can contact:
