Botanical Mixture Stabilizes CognitiveFunction in Patients with Mild and ModerateAlzheimer’s Disease

Having recently learned of a relative's AD diagnosis, I set out to do all the research I could on this horrible disease. I've come across this paper on a botanical mixture called Geneaire Rebuilder. It looks promising... If this is indeed a step in the right direction, I wanted to share. If anyone has any thoughts or further knowledge, please share back!

Looks a bit like an infomercial to me but what do I know; I have my own "botanical" treatment for the effects of dementia (LBD is like AD with some Parkinsons rolled in for fun) but its not something available in many areas so it probably would not help. If it is, I suggest CBD:THC 18:1 50 mg dose. Works for me and my neuros are all on-board with it since it does the work of L dopa (always screw that one up) what they commonly prescribe for AD etc in this area...but it does it with zero side-effects and with the ratio like that, there are no THC-like effects. What it does do is lift the fog of dementia for a time, giving my wife/caregiver a little more of the old "me" before Elvis exits the building entirely. I do apologize as this really doesn't help or answer your question...

Thank you - Yes, I am aware of CBD oil - though many tout so many ailments that can be cured by it, you really have to try to weed out what it does legitimately cure/help. That it does help in your case is fantastic! As I understand it, CDB is from hemp, so there are no THC effects whatsoever (unless CBD:THC is simply another variety). I'm always wary of chemicals/pharmaceuticals - usually producing more side-effects than the original problem, that's why I latched on to that study on Geneaire -- it seemed promising to me. Thanks again, and best of luck to you.

To be clear: hemp and cannabis are closely related, with CBD naturally occurring in each. However having tried both straight 67% CBD from hemp (zero THC, naturally) and it was only partially effective. This leaves me with the interesting position of knowing only the high CBD and a trace of THC will work; eliminate the THC or jack it up to values higher than 5% or greater and the efficacy of the medication drops off quickly. The fun part of this is that I and maybe most people would barely even register feeling anything as low as 5% THC; you could not buy actual cannabis that bad. It is called the entourage effect; leave out the trace amount of THC or add too much and the medicine is worthless for me. Put it in that range and its freaking magic. This is why CBD made from hemp doesn't work, or at least it does not for me.
