I am still struggling with do I have Alzheimer's or are my memory problems related to the ECT's I have had throughout my life. I haven't had anymore ECT'S for at least 8 years. However, my memory appears to have worsened over this time.

Go to your GP and ask to be referred for tests, I thought I was in the early stages so I went to my GP and got referred, l got tested and I have a condition called mild cognitive memory impairment, a percentage of people diagnosed with this do go on to develop dementia/ Alzheimer's but I stay positive.
