New here, but alopecia for around 6 years

I'm a complicated case. I'm a member of a few hubs here and didn't know about the alopecia one. I'm a 54 year old male and it started back in 2015 with a small patch. Which was actually preceded with a swollen Thyroid which was drained. By 2017 I had lost all my hair all over. Then got diagnosed with an Ascending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm in 2017. 2 surgeries inn April 2019 to fix that. Month in hospital. So I'm a member of the BHF Hub. Developed Afib, From that so I'm in the Afib Hub. Then took pneumonia and sepsis 3 weeks later and back in hospital for a week.

later in 2019 I had another respiratory infection. One week in hospital late November into December. Consultants and GP are now convinced I had Covid.

Follow up heart scans showed my thyroid was still swollen. Referred again and biopsy etc then carried out. Negative for cancer, but thyroid still swollen.

Late December 2019 I developed a Cranial CSF Leak from man left nostril. Got that finally repaired in June 2020, one hole in my dura found, only for it to start again from the right nostril. Repared again January this year with two further holes repaired in surgery. Consultant convinced its caused by Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension.

Now throughout all this I've had sporadic fluffy/soft type hair making occasional appearances. But my hair still hasn't grown back.

But neither my Cardiologist, ENT Specialist, Neurologist or Endocrinologist think that my alopecia is linked to any of my aforementioned conditions. I'm convinced it's linked to my thyroid as its appeared shortly after my thyroid swelled and was then drained of some kind of brown fluid.

They also don't think any of my conditions are linked.

So I'm at a total loss about my alopecia.
