ALD prenatal genetic testing for moms?

Does anyone know of any efforts being made to include ALD in the prenatal genetic testing done for moms, which is typically done in the first trimester?

This is generally only done if there is a history of ALD in the family. I am not aware of any effort to include it in the panel since quite a few states are now screening newborns.

I know it was added to Counsyl a common genetic screening panel offered to women ( for a variety a reasons-in my case Bc I was over age 35) after I had my son. That was performed in the first trimester. That’s just one example
