Mom of 2 ALD boys

I am associated with Janis and know many speak very highly of her and her knowledge. Knowledge is power, I couldn't agree more. Many know my story. We have a blog done as we are ALD#16. My 6 month old was diagnosed through newborn screening in PA. My father is 50 and is asymptomatic and my great grandfather is 90 and asymptomatic. We have no previous knowledge of ALD, but did have an Uncle over 60 years ago who had Addisons Disease, but died of old age as he lived a full life. My 2 year old as well has ALD. They are seen by Dr. Raymond in Hershey, PA. Both of my boys are asymptomatic as are the others in my family. I'm beyond grateful for newborn screening and hope and pray many others have expierences as my family is.
