My partners dr thinks he has fibromyalgia, after a blood test came back clear for other abnormalities. Where do we go from here

I personally had to ask for a second opinion at another hospital before I was diagnosed. However, after this I attended the Pain Clinic there and they helped adjust my medications to help with the pain I was experiencing. Many with Fibro cannot work due to the severity or the symptoms that wax & wane.

If your partner would still like to work I suggest considering a part time job taking into account Fibro and the symptoms he experiences. If you go down to your local Citizen Advice Bureau they can talk to you about your individual circumstances & what benefits/help you may be eligible for.
