Iam waiting to hear about a date for cardio version , do you have to stop taking pradaxa blood thiner before procedure ?

Hi duckpopper, usually you continue taking anti-coagulants right up to and beyond a cardioversion, they want you over 2 INR usually

Actually duckpopper I may be wrong, having read some more on Pradaxa it works in entirely different ways to warfarin, and is not even measured by INR, I am sure the hospital will tell you what they want.
My logic tells me they will want to continue the anti-coagulant effect during and after, but take medical advice
