Atrial flutter started after ablation for paroxysmal AF. Currently awaiting second ablation but experiencing difficulties with water retention partly due to reduced physical activity. any similar problems/solutions ?.

I have been pretty lucky not retaining, but from day one I have been given a regular prescription of a fluid pill because it’s very normal to have this happen according to my car Cardiologist.

I drink a lot of water and it seems to keep the fluid going regular. If you don’t drink a lot drink more. It’s almost as though my bladder got trained to eliminate it so no retention also watch your sodium. It can be sneaky and in places you don’t expect it to be.
