Best watch for measuring BP and arrhythmia

I currently use a wrist BP monitor. It seems to give different readings depending on where it is located on the wrist. A small distance either way seems to change reading. I have seen lots of adverts for fitness style watches that givev BP and graphs of heart rhythm. I'm in the headlights with so many on offer. Any recommendations please.

From my perspective, I would never buy a wrist BP monitor and expect it to give any sort of reliable, accurate reading. I have a Garmin fitness monitor (Forerunner 35) watch and it has lots of "stuff" embedded into it the only ones I regard as reliable is 1] heart rate and 2] distance tracker and3] sleep.

If I wanna know my BP I have an Omron Evolve Cuff BP monitor and if I wanna know my ECG, I have a Kardia. For my money its "horses for courses".

A friend has tried various ways to constantly monitor his BP. He’s recently bought a Huawei watch that uniquely has a small bladder to take more accurate measurements. It’s by far the best he’s had. He used to use Omron but it kept failing in the same place.

If you need more information, I could ask my friend. The last time we spoke, he was thrilled with it as he's had such a bad time with others and especially the Omron ambulatory device.

It must be the D2 model, looking at their online information - quite pricey.

My understanding is that all home BP monitors can be inaccurate while in AF and BP should be taken manually while AF is present. Even the Apple Watch background heart rate monitor taken optically is unreliable while in AF and the only reliable measurement is the ECG taken electrically while in AF.

Different if you are in NSR, the devices can be quite reliable then.

Just my thoughts, best wishes
