There are many different types - single chamber, dual chamber, three lead, two lead, one lead and now leadless, then multiple possibilities for programming algorithms, some of which are specifically to stop AF. Some pacemakers have ICD capacity - Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator and MRI safe models.
The two major companies are Medtronic and Boston Scientific - they list all the types on their website.
