An AF Carol

As it seemed popular 2 years ago, I thought I'd re-post one of my alternative Christmas carols.

Silent night

Then AFs a blight

All was calm

Now there's fright

Round yon fire

Curled up like a child

Hoping the attack will be

Short lived and mild

Sleep would give me some peace

Sleep would give me some peace.

May I also take the opportunity to wish all who celebrate, a very Merry Christmas and to those who don't, warm Winter wishes......... and to everyone, a Happy New Year and a happy and healthy 2025.

Thank you for all the support.

Once again, when I clicked to add a “like” it went to “unlike” so you should have another “like” or possibly more!

My attempt

Silent Night, Holy Night

Af happens when I sleep

47bpm average AF must be slight

but by Day AF heart rate needs control I get a beep

shows I need my CCB right away

to keep AF at bay.

Persistent AF is easier

cause AF is there all the time

no start as it makes it appearance and no stop

ending to make it pleasier

and makes me all fine

I call it good cop and bad cop

monitoring the session for a PIP regime

a pill to pop in again and again.

Pray for AF to go away not today but every day

But unfortunately mine is here to stay.

Keep safe, keep your alarm alive to have your regular meds on time.

PLEASE!

Merry Christmas and I guess your 2025 wanting will be NO MORE EVENTS please.

Hope 2025 brings you what you want.

What a beautiful post same to you, honey

every night I have a silent night. I am grateful because as you know, even we still get our thumps. The silent nights seem to becoming more often, especially when you can behave and not trigger them lol sometimes we can’t help it

instead of thinking of being I think of it being annoying and it makes me angry at it. Turn the tables on Mr. a fib tell him he’s not running your life.
