I don't know what is happening with my computer but some days when I try and get on Health unlocked I get the 403 Error message and am not allowed access and then other days, like today i can get on straight away!

Hope you are all doing well. Since I have not been able to access the site I have had another birthday - 81 now and had flu and Covid boosters and as right as rain after them.

Hello Desanthony. Good to have you back, especially as you are now older at 81. Happy belated birthday and congratulations in making the 8th decade. There were some problems with HU on the internet, but it was their end and was corrected, so don't know why you are having problems still. Don't know if anyone else is though. Glad you are keeping well and been ok with the latest vaccinations. Look forward to reading your chats again. Take care.

Thank you! Haven't been back for a while as been really busy. My wife now looks after a neighbour's dog 3 days a week and he is a bit of a terror. doesn't like strangers which includes anyone coming through the door - even me - sometimes when I come back from the loo! Growls and barks - we are not used to barking dogs - none of ours did without good cause. This one doesn't even stop when you ask people in so we have to berate him and shut him in another room (great when you have tradespeople calling to quote for work. Also had a fence panel blow down which has just been fixed - contacted loads of contractors but didn't get any answers until a week later - presume they were busy - then a number not turning up when they said and a couple called and not even contacted us. Got it fixed yesterday. Now of course it needs painting and as usual it is raining today. Would have done it yesterday late afternoon and at least got one coat on but had a surprise visit from friends! This week we have today and - oh that's it. Doggie day tomorrow and think it is raining anyway then dentist on Wednesday - we have to travel an hour to get to our old dentist as none available to sign on with here so at least 4 hours off our day - think it's also raining here most of the day too. Thursday off for the weekend for a re-union with old comrades and to celebrate a friend's 80th. It's all go! Thankfully the following week is doggie free so here's hoping there are a few days with no rain that week.

Thanks Desanthony. You are very busy indeed. There always seems a maintenance job to do and all this rain doesn’t help. I have a gate post that has gone rotten and getting that fixed before winter sets in. I have had dogs all my life and your dog sitting one sounds a bit nervous. Have you tried giving him a chew when he is barking, those rawhide ones should keep him busy and perhaps calm him down. Have a good week anyway and take care of yourself.

OH it's happened again. Went back to reply to your response and couldn't get in. Now this morning I can! Why does this only happen occasionally? Grr!

Many happy returns, not sure how you access the site, many I believe only access it from the links in emails. I prefer to use the following newsfeed link healthunlocked.com/newsfeed which I have saved as a shortcut or bookmark or favourite depending what system you’re using. Then I refresh my newsfeed with the green Home or H button at the top of the page.

Maybe logout via the Menu button, clear cookies and then log back in will fix it for you.

Had my covid jab last Saturday in the middle of a 4 mile walk, no problems.

Best wishes

Tried to access via all the ways available most days so not sure what was wrong? Thanks for the tips.

All sorts of sillies with HUL recently so you were not alone. Had my flu and Covid jabs on Saturday too . No problems other than thought they used a blunt needle! Quite sore for a few days.

My wife was refused the jab this year at the surgery - she is sixty-four years and 6 months ( she has had every other jab and this jab was for people over 65 we thought) has 3 different what would be called chronic long term respiratory illnesses - though is very well and fit and lives with a forgetful 81 year old and because of my back and neck problems is termed my carer but no! So, off we trot to Boots and pay for a jab. It was the worst experience of a jab she has ever had she said - not bad enough to cry out but you actually heard the needle go in and the nurse complained that my wife had "tough" skin. she hasn't because nearly a life time of asthma and bronchiechtasis treatments including steroids both inhaled and in tablet form mean that she has very thin sensitive skin and can't even lean on a wooden table with her elbows without breaking the skin! Either the needle really was blunt or a bit of inexperience with giving injections on the nurse's side - though as she said she had had lots of people from our area traveling to their branch for injections one would have thought her current experience would have been sufficient? Anyway, she had the jab and is fine, as am I no problems at all.
