You seem to have had all the proactive medical interventions so the only thing left is improving lifestyle choices in the hope that makes life/AF more manageable. Plenty advice on that and AF triggers here.

It’s sad to read that Afib is ruining your life. Are you able to give a little more information so that people can understand the issues better? I hope your cardio appointment comes up with something that can ease the discomfort - we all experience Afib differently and it’s good to find an EP who understands this. Good luck.

What symptoms do you suffer? It seems such a variable condition. In my case, it is increasing in frequency but decreasing in symptomatology. I keep my fingers crossed and have an ablation coming in the future.

are you overwight, just asking. If you can get down to bmi 22 ish it may help.

I am 6ft 3in aged 67. Was nearly 15 stones. BMI c 27 and consultant simply said if you want to help yourself lose 2 stones. I did and it has. Did it in 2 months. No spuds, cheese, biscuits or crisps. If you are bmi 22 ish already well done
