Hi, Looks like NSR with PACs and PVCs with no acute ischemic changes and an underlying sinus rate of 60 to me. Any symptoms? Best etheral

So they are just extra or early beats ?

Lots of interference or as kardia say "artifacts". Do as Tom said and put it in a drawer and lock it. It is doing you no favours.

Hi Prosecco,

If you want further reassurance you could ask Kardia’s Cardiologists to interpret for you too?. It’s simple and very quick and it’s a small fee.

Being anxious like this really isn’t doing you any good and can also raise your heart rate. Believe me, I’ve been there. Please try and stay calm, take deep breaths to help.

A little out of focus, but it may be atrial fibrillation, especially looking at the fourth line where the noise smooths out. None of us here are qualified to tell you one way or the other, but I would definitely show it to my doctor right away if unexpected, or at a minimum send it to a Kardia cardiologist for a professional interpretation.

Hello

Thank you for sharing your ECG trace, many of the members have already provided their advice and opinions to help. ECG's are a medical analysis of your heart, and must be read and explained by a health care professional. They are able to explain if there is any cause for concern etc. If you are worried, or would like some advice, please contact your GP or contact a member of our Patient Services Team for advice: 01789 867502 or info@afa.org.uk

Kind regards,

The only thing wrong with that recording is that it’s a really bad shaky one. What do you worry might happen when your heart ‘jumps about’? What IS happening is that your anxiety is sending ‘run away quickly’ messages to your heart but you aren’t running away so your poor heart is confused. Perhaps it would help if you did go for a gentle run when this happens? Either that or you have to learn to send calming messages to your heart, tell it AF is not dangerous and you don’t need to run away xx

Today Everytime I move I get extra beats , is this ok

I think if that’s all that happens, it’s OK. Extra beats won’t harm you.

I think it would help a lot if you were able to join a tai chi class or if that isn’t available there are YouTube videos. The movements are very slow and controlled but the most important part is breathing control.

Surely, the Kardia tells you what it is! That’s the whole point of it.

Hi

It sure looks different to mine. I show AF in any ECG.

I have a long high one and lots of repeated low ones.

Does it look ok , I don’t have a clue what I’m looking for

Apart from the squiggly top two rows which are a really bad connection I think I can see a couple of ectopics - beats out of place, no problem. When I have AF, like Joy says, it’s very uneven, quick quick quickettyquick slow normal quick and high and low spikes. So there’s nothing much to see on yours x

I took Bob’s advice some time ago and left the gizmo in a drawer. Best thing I’ve done since my ablation. Yes my heart blips about but I won’t check unless it’s persistent or I feel unwell . If either of those happen then a medical opinion is required but I think it helps me to be less anxious not to be in the habit of checking regularly. Just my experience though!

I know when I go into afib though I usually get my Kardia out to confirm. Otherwise I don't use it. I would be over the moon with a heart rate of 82bpm! Try to ignore what your heart is doing. Worrying over it will just make it worse.

Not what you're looking for?
