Still feeling ruff and thought id post an ecg, can anybody read anything from this??
Does this ecg look ok??im definately ... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Does this ecg look ok??im definately not in nsr, think my a fib is back although alivecor not detecting it??? Says its unreadable???
Looks like there are p waves there so not AF, Some odd beast which may be ectopics. Not very clear trace on my computer. Try not to rush to the alivecpr every time you feel rough as it only increases stress. It is still very early days sop be patient. Things will improve.
I'm going to agree and disagree with Bob. Your trace seems to have intermittent "P" and "T" waves and clearly shows arythmia and so I think that it shows that you are in AF. I am not going to suggest that I am any sort of expert but your trace looks very similar to mine when I'm in AF.
If you are going to use your AliveCor then you really need to use it on a regular basis when in NSR so that you recognise the difference between NSR and AF. If you are concerned about your trace then ask for an analysis via the app.
Where I agree with Bob is about the stress that can follow your use of AliveCor. Your post seems to suggest that you already knew that you were in AF and that you used your AliveCor to check this. No matter what it actually says, if you compare your NSR trace with you AF trace you can read for yourself the difference. The AliveCor trace is only confirming what you already knew.
I'm afraid that I can't read your pulse rate, it looks like 65bpm, but for what ever reason don't get stressed about what AliveCor is, or isn't saying. The trace suggests that you are in AF and that is why you are feeling a bit ruff.....but you already knew that.
My suggestion is that you shrug, say "Damn it all" and do some yoga or meditation.
Oh yes i understand how my ecg looks when im in nsr, i just wondered why it wasnt saying af detected like it use too, it now saying it was unreadable instead after plenty of goes so wondered if it could be something else different from af
OK, well I don't think that anybody on here can answer that question. I recently asked for an analysis of one of my traces, via AliveCor, for exactly that reason and got a responce in under 24 hours. The trace that I sent was rather more ragged than yours and I had an HR of around 120. I found the report reassuring in that nothing other than tachycardia and AF were found.
Since writing my above responce I have seen your previous post and can see that you are obviously very concerned about what is happening. Since I have had no medical procedures or chemical interventions I probably have little to offer apart from the support of a fellow sufferer.
For what it's worth, if I had the above trace when in AF then my thoughts would be "oh, not too bad then"....sadly all I can offer is a glass half full!
No probs buzzard, ill have a word with the nurse tommorow, thankyou
Honest answer? I dont know. It doesnt look like any of my AF readings before my ablation, doesnt look like my NSR either.
To me it looks like my ecg I had, after a cardioversion, just before I flipped back into AF.
But - I am not a cardiologist or even medically trained so I wont make any judgement.
I offer my opinion only.
Doesnt look like AF to me.
I don't think I am qualified enough to diagnose, however, if you just count the spaces between beats - it is irregular. I would suggest there IS an irregularity which may or may not be AF or another type of arrythmia but it is not definitive enough for the app to be able to diagnose.
If I were you I would either email my EP and ask if there is anything I should be worried about or take to GP and ask same and go from there.
I saw one of my cardiologist get a piece of paper and draw to lines below one of the beats and then move to each to see the gap difference. It does look like a irregular beat from what I see.
However I have had tests thinking I am in NSR and feeling fine and been all over the place. It is best to go with if you feel rough then you are probably not well and might need a little outside help.
Be Well
Steve looking at that reading from the RCG in some cases I cannot see a P Spike & on other lines yes there is. Bob is right for some lines. Is that a 3 lead RCG or a 12 lead. What did they say when they did the RCG ??????

Steve - I use an Alivecor too and have no medical qualifications so I can only give an opinion based on my ALivecor traces. It's very difficult to see the trace on my screen but some of it looks like atrial ectopics with sections that look like NSR. There appear to be three beats that resemble my trace of ventricular ectopics too.
It looks uncomfortable but at least the rate isn't debilitating (small crumb of comfort). I hope you are feeling better this morning.
I always send mine to my cardiologist when it comes back with a reading to send it for analysis.
Steve, I have an Alivecor too and I agree with Finvola. To me it looks like mainly sinus rhythm with atrial ectopics.
I've sent a number of recordings off for analysis, it's only a fiver and they get back to you very quickly. One of mine was within the hour.
