I have a problem with our MGTF. I am in permanent AF and ablation is not an option. It used to be fine but in recent months when we go out in the car, my heart rate goes up. The MG has a hard suspension and makes travelling on today’s potholed roads very bumpy. Ordinary roads send my heart rate up from 60 to 90 but if we go on a rally and use back roads which are badly potholed and twisty it goes up to 130 and I feel unwell. When we stop it comes down to 60-70. My husband had something done to the car which has softened the suspension a bit but it’s still happening.
Anyone heard of this odd reaction.

I once converted from AF into NSR after hitting deep pothole which wrecked the wheel & axle of brand new Mazda.
Sounds like similar reaction only in reverse!
Let’s face it, the anxiety of driving on back roads these days is enough to send anyone’s heart rate sky high with the anxiety! The potholes here in Sussex are the worst!
