yes very mild headaches when starting the same medication I got used to them I checked the side effects and they seem to be nothing to worry about. It’s not extreme pain I get so it’s not symptomatic of a brain bleed. I’m more concerned about the stomach pain and constant hunger when taking it, than the headache, but I’ve also considered it could just be a combination of more than one medication working together

Your previous Post connected the ongoing "pain in the top of your head" to a particular experience of "straining", and a resultant desire to obtain a head scan. Have you changed your mind about your desire/need for a head scan?

Have had a CT scan luckily it showed no bleed . But still got the funny mussy head and pain top and left side of head. Quite worried. I wonder if it's taking Apixaban and Bisoporol together.

You hadn't replied to my previous request for a follow-up re your brain bleed concerns, so your positive update now is welcome news to all on the Forum. Sorry I can't help with your ongoing and symptoms.

I got extreme itching on apixaban and stopped after about 5 days. Maybe I was just allergic to how expensive it is here in the U.S., home of the world's biggest pharma-suckers

I had mild pain over my left eye (rather like I suffer when I get the occasional optical migraine, but without any aura). I also got heartburn. I had tried Eliquis because it is recommended as the anti-coagulant of choice for AF, but even at the old person's weight dose (I'm 81 and 50kg) it did not suit me, And when I read the comparative studies between it and Xarelto ,which were really minimal, I went back to iXorolo as it is called here in Southern Africa, which is in any case more convenient at one tablet a day !
