pulsefield ablation: hi has anyone had... - Atrial Fibrillati...
pulsefield ablation
Judging by this month's newsletter from Dr John Day in the USA (I posted it on this Forum today) you have made a good choice of procedure. However if I was you I would seek out the right consultant (in the UK or if private funds allow France) who has had plenty of experience - even the best procedures can go wrong in inexperienced hands 🤔.
After doing extensive research myself, I chose PFA at Bournmouth, they are one of the few so far, hospitals to undertake this and Doctors are the leaders in their field. So I am happy to travel further to be treated by them , as a result, I am on the PFA list for Bournmouth, hopefully won't be too long now.
Hi
which doctor are you under there?
Dr Bala a lovely man, a leading consultant in PF and other ablation. He's really down to earth and completely relatable, felt so at ease and confident with him.Are you thinking of going to Bournmouth?
Yes I am under him but y ablation won't
be for while as I have another problem and a major op this Monday. Have you had your ablation done?
No, not yet. Did he quote you a approximate time wait ? Hope all goes well with your other op.
3 months but may be longer now. I didn’t know an Angiogram was necessary before procedure , is that so for everyone?
has anyone had a pulse ablation done at Bournemouth hospital? How did it go?
