Does anyone else have a low heart rate of 47bpm.on 10mh of Bisoporol

Heart rate
I was only on low dose of bisoprolol and had low HR of 36. Tried other medications and they all did the same - I think we tried for about 9 months to find something that suited me better but nothing worked as they all made me feel worse than the AF so ended up just taking anticoagulant. If your rate is low and it is bothering you - making you fatigued and breathless it may be worth asking about a change of dosage or change of medication to find one that doesn't give you this.
Hi Myflowrr2. It seems to be the norm with Bisoporol. I was only on 5mg and had measurements as low as 37bpm and average of 45bpm resting. It would raise to mid 50’s with a bit of movement and up to normal level with brisk walk. So could still function,
Yes, I am on that dose and on occasion my HR has dropped to 48, but some of those times it was in the night and at other times, having been sat in the chair, very relaxed. The HR goes up to my normal resting rate range of 54 - 64 with movement. I think the important thing is whether it makes you feel faint.
Annie.
Oh yes. Since doubling my dose to 2.5mg just over a week ago, I have had three days with a rate of under 40. The specialist I saw said that so long as it wasn't causing symptoms, it is quite safe.
Steve
I range 45/50 on 1.25 mg of bisoprolol, hoping to stop it altogether soon
My wife had a similar experience. Discussed with GP and lowered her dose from 3.75 to 2.5. Seemed to help with HR.
Hi
Yes but 25mg Night.
But it is my natural Night Rate.
And it is the CCB Diltiazem 120mg that brought down and controlled my Heart Rate. At one stage I was increasing Bisoprolol BB to control Heart Rate. BUT IT DID NOT @ 156bpm.
Have you had an ablation?

i was on 1.25mg and my heart rate went down to 35. GP took me off it
what is your normal (without bisoprolol) HR? I’m on 1.25mg and it reduced my RHR by about 10-12%.
My natural HR is high-40s, now it’s low 40s. I feel good either way, occasional warning of low HR from my Apple Watch (10 mins at below 40), don’t bother me. I’m 62, pretty fit and prefer a low HR.
It probably depend on how you feel at the reduced HR.
