Does anyone know if the FitBit charge 6 requires a subscription to allow AF monitoring?

The implication from their website is that you just need the app to turn it on, no sub is necessary.

Hello Elizabeth,I'm not sure about charge 6, I have a fitbit Sense 2 which records AF with no subscription.

My wife and I have fitbit charge 5. Neither of us has a subscription and they allowed me to dign up for AF monitoring and both of us have used fhe ECG function, I'm NSR, wife is in AF.Just had one of the charge 5s replaced under guarantee when it died at 4 months old. Unfortunately this is a recurrent quality issue with fitbit charges (we've had 2, 4 and 5 models).

i too have Fitbit 5 i tried the premium on free trial but didn’t use it much as it will monitor af and heartbeat without.
