Hi Derek and welcome to the forum.

Are you functioning well during the day after having just 4hrs sleep each night and have you been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (a heart that beats out of rhythm)?

You make no mention of your age, or what medication you are taking, these need to be known really for anyone to give you a clearer answer.

It has been said that fitbits are not always 100% accurate and I'm hoping this is the situation with yours.

All I can advise is for you to see a medical professional and ask to wear a fully approved and accurate heart monitor, so that it can be seen just what is going on.

Is that twice daily?

No just in the morning.

Some people on here split their dose and take half in the morning and half at night. I wonder if because you're taking it just once in the morning whether the effect starts wearing off at night. Another option would be to take your full dose of Bisoprolol at night.

We are not medically trained on this site and as you are taking other medication. I would first put any suggestions received on this forum to your GP or pharmacist for them to ok.

Thank you for your thoughts, I’ve made an appointment with my doctors. I’ll let you know how I get on 🤞

Hello

That seems like quite a lot of meds and the Bisoprolol dose is fairly high. I agree with Jean that after speaking to your Dr maybe splitting the dose or taking it at night could calm your heart. I find magnesium helps but again something to check with your Dr .

Take care.

I sold my fitbit. It wasn’t very good or accurate.

Yes I’ve also heard fitbits aren’t 100% accurate, I wear one. I have checked mine against my BP machine and my Kardia ECG checker, and it’s not bad, almost near the same.

If you can , check it against a BP machine to give you an idea OR go to the GP for a check.

Ps. I’m 62 and have AF, don’t consider myself to be that bad.

I got rid of my fitbit. It can become obsessive and it’s not always accurate.
