Event Recorder

I was fitted with a 3 day event recorder yesterday, following 3 recent hospital admissions for PAF.

I was given a diary to record symptoms. As instructed, I pressed the green button to record faintness but the screen then showed "Terminated" Battery low. The Cardio-Respiratory department is closed all weekend and nobody seems able to give me advice. A lovely nurse in Cardiac ACU suggested that maybe the machine is still working, but it was just guesswork.

Does anyone have any thoughts to share, please?

I would carry on with it but tell the technician when you take it back, you may need to do it again.

That's what I thought too. Thank you for your reply.

Following on from what BANTAM says - still keep your diary though as instructed I assume its a manual diary like in note pad paper form.
