How long after being on LMWH (Tinzaparin) will my hair stop falling out? I have been off for two months and my hair continues to shed.

I was on Daltaparin for 3 months then switched to Tinzaparin with hopes that my excessive hair shedding/loss would stop. It did not . I have been off the Tinzaparin for almost two months now and continue to experience hair shedding. When will the shedding stop?

Hi,

I’m not sure if there will be many in the AF association who are aware of the anti coagulant that you are taking ( I googled and saw it was to treat DVT)

Anticoagulants taken by members in the AF associated are to prevent stroke and are medication such as warfarin, apixaban or edoxaban, to name a few. I wonder if you would get more support by the other group on Health unlocked . There is an “Anti coagulation Support group”? .
