can anyone recommend a cardiologist in the South west …,Glos, Bristol, Cardiff

Might be too west for you but so far we've had a very positive experience from Dr Christopher Gibbs at North Devon District Hospital.

You need an EP cardiologist - the guys who specialise in electrical faults in the heart. We found Jonathan Pitts-Crick was lovely but he works privately though at the Spire in Bristol. He was definitely worth it!

Hope he is as nice to you as he was to me, He didn’t think I had it but changed my life by telling me I could “get an app on my phone” ! Not my phone at the time but after I got a smart one and the Kardia which I used when my heart next misbehaved and sent him the reading, he sent a prescription for flecainide to my surgery. Then a family Whatsapp group etc etc!! He might remember me, Sandi Beecher
