Hello everyone, hope you're having a lovely coronation Bank Holiday, just thought I would ask a question, I'm taking 62.5 daily digoxin for AF, which seems to be helping ,but think ingesting blurred vision due to this med as have read it can cause this in some people, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem whilst on this particular medication, thanks in advance, sue .

Blurred vision
Have you got blurred vision. ? If you think it's from the digoxin see the doctor. I had lots of side effects from digoxin and had to stop it but blurred vision was not one of them. Check with the optician as well. Phil
I had no side effects when I was taking digoxin and found it really and usefully effective. However, something called digoxin toxicity is a real possibility with the drug, it seems, and I was asked to report any side effects at all. Ocular side effects are mentioned a lot on the internet and seem to resolve quickly once it's stopped. Have you read the patient leaflet that comes in the packet? I would, even though it might likely worry you as it covers far more than we need to know!
It does seem to be very important that you tell your doctor about these ocular effects, however, so that would be what I would do asap.

Best to get this sorted out if it's just started for your peace of mind. Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday .
