That would apply to all smart phones which should be kept away from heart and head and never put in shirt pockets - period. We put all calls on speaker and I use a stand and I would say more than 6ins - I try to keep mine 1m away. 5G masts are also a big worry, many objections to them in UK, especially when they want to locate them near schools!

Thanks for highlighting that.

Thank you for the info, there’s been a hullabaloo about them putting a 5G mast near us

Makes me wonder what effect a phone in a left breast pocket (me...) might potentially have on the heart even without a PM....

(PS Dawn, sorry I haven't answered your PM yet - been hectic work-wise and family-wise - hope you are doing OK)

answer me when you feel like it and you can I can be a bit too chatty lol they have cases for the phone the blocks out things you can find them on Amazon. I no longer carry anything in my breast pocket because I no longer am in uniform even when I was it was in my right pocket for whatever reason. It probably wouldn’t hurt for us to use the cases. They are no more expensive than any good one. they also sell material on Amazon that blocks out all kinds of stuff I would need to find out is it just the body of the pacemaker or the leads? I thought of making a tape on patch to put over my pacemaker insertion area and where I can feel it. Maybe they should start putting some thing into clothing if they are going to shoot all these different things at us from cell phone towers, etc.. I was never really into that stuff. I thought of it like people from outer space but first of all why can’t they be out there lol but it seems like more things of being invented without them really thinking through the repercussions. I just got the iPhone 14 max pro. Not that it would kill me, but I accidentally found out while sitting in T-Mobile that there is a huge portion of the back case with a magnet inside. They tell us about magnets? Yet I don’t see any kind of warning on the box. Everything else has warnings these days from. Don’t put this in your mouth to whatever, so why not this when everyone has a phone and the majority of men probably put it in their shirt pocket as well as women like me who wore a uniform. Unlike television programs, we don’t run around carrying a big handbag. It Hass to go in your pocket and I can’t be unsightly.

I hope you are doing well. I’m not sure if it was changing my heart rate setting or whatever it was but today I am feeling really good. One day at a time one step at a time. I’m still learning about a fib, and even with the pacemaker one thing I’m learning is to expect the unexpected, and nothing is perfect in life, but it sure can get better.
