I just read this article - not a study - on the Osteoporosis site and thought it worth reposting as there are several of us who struggle with meds, especially with AF/Osteoporosis

I thought it fascinating, of course I was especially interested in the comments about kefir, kumboocha and cultured foods!

Thank you for posting this, CDreamer. Very interesting and amazing what the scientists are finding out about how our bodies function. This may be too late to help us, sadly, but others may benefit in time. Although perhaps eating more cultured foods, etc. might help.

it’s Amazing isn’t it ! How all parts of the body are connected especially to the gut. I skimmed this article here at 6am. But interested in the connection to the drugs. I do kefir almost everyday, not so much the other cultured foods, but believe they are an important part of our healthy lifestyle

Ah, those are all superb gut flora enhancing foods. A heathy gut is KEY to every system in the body - physical and mental (the brain!).

Wow what an interesting read that was! Absolutely fascinating to see this research, and where it is leading. As you say,our bodies are such intricate machines and we have so much to learn!

Sauekrout and kefir it is then! One benefit of being on blood pressure tablets too!

Thank you CD xx

Really interesting article . Thanks for posting it. I now feel a bit guilty for neglecting the probiotics after my fortnight long course of high strength antibiotics for Lyme last year!

yes interesting. Some years ago my friend’s husband had a kidney transplant and developed changes in preference that matche the kidney doners character 🤷🏼‍♀️

Many years ago I read an article that stated they’d found neurones in the heart!!

Wouldn’t it be lovely if they cou actually find all causes and effects instead of only treating symptoms
