Ablation update and reassurances.

Had an ablation Dec.30. Afib episodes Jan. 2-5. I felt worse than ever before but Doc said to take 200mgs amiodarone on the 5th and would schedule a cardioversion if I didn't go back into NSR in next couple days. Well, lo and behold, went into NSR on the 6th and been afib free since. I have a follow up on Feb 15th to start weaning me off the amiodarone down to 100mg then completely off by March 15th. Doctor said my experience is quite common. I'm glad I had the ablation and have to say the 3 days of maddening afib post ablation was well worth it now being afib free. Patience grasshoppers.
