stay positive….

Hi everyone.

After having A.Fib for almost two years I had a cardioversion done on the 15 Dec last supported by six months on Amiodarone.

My heart rate is now in Normal Sinus Rhythm and so far all's good. Had the Bisoprolol reduced from 3.75 twice a day to 1.25 twice a day and feel a lot more comfortable.

I’ve yet to se what’s what after I come off the Amiodarone in three months time but keeping fingers and toes crossed.

Just wanted to say “ Hang on in there” if you are waiting for a CV. Like I said, it’s almost two years from my symptoms being diagnosed as permanent AF to the CV being done but so far…. All is ok.

Ellie Ann.

😃 stay positive! Thanks for letting me know that I’ve cheered you up a bit. It can get very lonely soldiering on with A Fib.

Great result congrats. I’m in persistent AF and mine lasted three days. Just checked to see when my next appointment is hoping I’d get some sort of update and instead found out I’ll be seen April 26th. 3 months after my failed cardioversion. Feel like giving up.

don’t give up! My sister had five CVs many years ago and she is fine now. Just on tablets and she is 81 and walks every day.
