Three months post ablation, thankfully still in NSR, but feeling rough much of the time. I am dizzy and light headed, often nauseous and usually lack energy which very much restricts what I can do. I feel worst in the morning and gradually improve as the day progresses. I'm now wondering if it could be an intolerance to Edoxaban which I take before I go to bed. I'm not good with medication, and in fact had an urgent ablation as I couldn't tolerate any of the AF medications. I've been on Edoxaban for about 7 months since the AF returned after 10 years of being AF free. I've felt rough since then but put it down to AF expecting to start feeling better after the ablation. I'm just 70 and currently feel as if my active life is over. Have others on this forum experienced side effects to Edoxaban?

I'm sorry your having these issues. I'm not on epixabsn so can't comment from experience.( I refused to change from apixaban when they tried to swap me over). Have you discussed your symptoms with any medical team?
Hello I am on Edoxaban 30mg daily taken in the morning. I have Bisosporol as a PIP. I had an Ablation for Flutter end of Sept 2022. I do not tolerate meds and could not take Apixaban anticoagulant as had gastric issues. As I have so much frustration with side effects with medication I have in the past spent my time trying a medication, been unable to take it so then had to try something else. Inevitably I ended up taking no medication at all. I suffer with lung disease, never smoked and also a vegetarian. I had breast cancer and went thro radiotherapy 2020. So I put my tiredness down to my rough few years health wise. I do have light headedness on a daily basis and use a walking pole now when I go out, so whether the light headedness is due to Edoxaban I do not know. As I need to take an anticoagulant I suppose I have accepted Edoxaban as I don't have the energy to trial other anticoagulants at this current time. I am 71 yrs old. I'm hoping my health improves this year as I certainly do not have the energy I once had. I wish you well going forward and hope your health improves too.
If you lookup Edoxaban on the internet & look @ the side effect listings including the rare side affects you will probably be able to relate some of the side effects to your problems. It is a medication the the NHS is pushing people to use as it is a cheaper medication. My wife had problems with Edoxaban untill I managed to have it changed back to her original medication. Try requesting an alternative medication!
I have been changed to Edoxaban for 4 weeks now but from the 3rd week have joint pain after minor exercise. I have contacted my surgery & being put back on Rivaroxaban!
