I had my ablation early September, so am due (in theory!) my 3 month follow up soon. It will no doubt be a telephone or video consult. I am wondering what to expect, and what questions I should ask.
I'm in UK and our NHS is so overstretched appointments are rare and precious so I want to make the most of it!
FYI I had PAF with very symptomatic episodes 2 -4 times a week prior to ablation. Since the procedure I've only had one AF episode, which is fantastic! I do however get brief flutters and quite a lot of bigeminy. I'm on nebivolol and aapixaban
So- what to ask and expect from the follow up so I can make the most of the opportunity.
Thanks everyone.

I think it can be said that things are looking good Bunny and all I can suggest is that you just repeat what you have told us. Depending on your circumstances, they might discuss reducing or even stopping the Nebivolol but it’s probably a bit to soon to consider that. If your CHADs is 1 or more, it’s unlikely they will suggest changing the Apixaban. Three months is not long and you might still experience some changes but it certainly sounds encouraging so far. Good luck with the appointment……..
