we’ll what a let down after all the stress of this week and being told to expect an urgent call from the doctor this morning, a doctor rang and asked me what was wrong.
Apparently he was a locum and knew nothing about what had occurred, I could not understand his
Accent and kept losing phone signal, after his taking advice he had been asked to do another ecg on me, but said he would not bother as I have an appointment for December 2nd.
Deflated is how I feel, still not long to wait until return to hospital
Thank you all for your support.

I don't live in the UK, but I have read all sorts of stories such as doctors are paid for each person they put on a statin, or how many Covid vaccinations they administer - maybe they now get paid per phone call they make!
Useless and unacceptable. The least they can do is not add to your stress. Sending you positive thoughts and hoping the days will go quickly until your hospital appointment.
hi there, I have been onto my doctor this week feel like you are banging your head at a brick wall. The lady at the pharmacy was much more helpful and understanding. There are only so many times you can say to some one I can’t understand what you are saying. He obviously hadn’t read your records.
Alas, more evidence that the NHS is falling apart.
@hatten28 I would definitely flag up what happened to the GP practice manager if, as you say, the team are usually good. If they don't know, they can't prevent a repeat — with you, or another patient.
