Anyone know what LCH means on an echo? My echo results showed mild LCH. I’ve googled it but unclear what it means in relation to cardiac function .

LCH on echo!
I think it means Langerhans cell Histiocytosis. Sounds like mild inflammation but to be sure check with cardio nurse or your GP.
May I ask if you mean LVH (left ventricular hypertrophy) as opposed to LCH- Very different.
LVH is enlargement of the left ventricular wall or muscle of the heart. It can be due to increased pumping pressures by the ventricle itself, Aortic valve problems, hypertension or a normal finding in fit individuals.
Essentially the LV wall increases in size (thickness).
It can be benign or need further work up as it can lead to LV dysfunction and reduced ability of the heart to pump.
Often picked up on an ECG before an echo is performed.
Stoneyrosed has the other possible meaning if LCH not LVH.
If it is LVH which would be common on an echo , its what precedes it whch is important eg mild, as mine was. Which freaked me out so went to my GP who explained it was not an issue but was reported so it could be checked on any subsequent echo and any progression noted for action. My LVH had disappeared on the next echo which maybe an improvement or it may be that the person doing the second echo did not agree it was LVH. It is a subjective interpretation on a moving heart, when hearts have variability in size anyway.
On one of mine I was in afib at 165 bpm and another in aflutter at 140 bpm - I am not medically trained and expect technology now assists but it still seems to to me would be difficult to interpret.
