Information on a fib
Firstly Hi from the UK and welcome
SO much - links to similar information
heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...
YouTube - York Cardiology
Start with the basics
- how long have you had AF for?
- Are you symptomatic?
- Is it Paroxysmal (episodes which come and go) or persistent (been in AF for more than 7 consecutive days)?
- Age, co-morbidities, Lifestyle Factors - sleep, stress, weight/diet, fitness all have huge impact on AF so improving Lifestyle is the one biggest thing you can do to help your AF.
Please come back with any specific questions as this is an exceptionally supportive and informed group of people from all over the world.
Best wishes CD
Hi ksrm.
Welcome to the forum.
Both CD and Jean have given you good links to start your research. There treatments which will likely help you. I assume you have seen a cardio and are on an anticoagulant ? Please let us have a little more information about your afib and I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
Enjoy the rest of the day.
Paul
