I feel for you. We had a terrible and long run of family and personal issues just over a decade ago. Life can seem to be very cruel.

So sorry to hear that. Sometimes things do come altogether at once. When my Mum and Dad were having a bad time and were in a care home there was only my sister and I to visit them. My sister, my wife and I were all in hospital for a few months and my sister and I were very ill for months afterwards. When we finally managed to drive the 300 miles to their home and see my sister in hospital near Christmas that year we caught sight of all three of us in the reflection on the dark sky via the window and we all looked like ghosts we were so ill and looked so bad. Glad we made it to see both my sister and parents as my Dad died within 6 months and my Mum just over a year later so it was the last Christmas we had with them.

Take care of yourself

I am so sorry you and your family are going through this; often lots of life-changing things come at once and one sometimes doubt their ability to cope. Thinking of you and hoping for a miracle recovery for your son-in-law and that your check-up is clear.

So sorry about your son in law. I have known 2 people that died from sepsis due to a scratch/cut on their legs. Its so unexpected and tragic.

Take care .
