had 125 mcg short term in 2020, cardio took me off it when 24 hr heart monitor showed no af a few months after diagnosis.

With the bisoprolol it took me down to mid 40s hr, but went up to mid 50s when stopped, been same since, had no adverse reaction

Hi. I have been on Digoxin for just over a year now. I take it for persistent AF along with 10mg Bisoprolol. Not had any problems with it at all. I understand it is a very old tried and tested drug.

I took Digoxin for 3 weeks and it made me so dizzy I had to stop it. Could not function. I am fine with Bisoprolol.

Loaded onto digoxin & bisoprolol whilst in hosp in April with afl/afib. Now on tildiem 300LA and digoxin and still ticking along at 125-135 for most of the time. Consultant says digoxin will have lowered HR a bit (!)

Not noticed any side effects from it so far.

When i first started with PAF many years ago digoxin was the only drug which would stop my episodes. I still take a small dose each day 1.25 mg so that if I have an episode they can top it up. Never had any bad effects from it and look upon it as my friend.

When I had fast AFl it was the only drug that got my heart rate down to a reasonable level, often rather too low, it's true. I was very pleased with it.

I've been on digoxin for just over a year. I'm in permanent, constant afib but it keeps my heart rate under control. My cardiologist says that we will monitor the levels once a year. I haven't noticed any side effects.
