Do you have Atrial Fibrillation?

Are you a Caregiver of someone with Atrial Fibrillation?

Are you a Health Care Professional?

Do you live in the UK?

We would like to invite you to participate in a research study; AFFIRMO (Atrial Fibrillation Integrated Approach in Frail, Multimorbid, and Polymedicated Older People) Study.

The study is aimed at gaining a better understanding about the experience of living with multiple chronic conditions of which AF is the most common heart rhythm disorder.

If you would like to participate and offer your support, you can do so anonymously, all you need to do is complete an online survey (approx 30-40 minutes ) You may also be requested to join an online zoom call? However, you can decide to complete just survey or the interview, or both!

Please choose the suitable link for you below:

Patient : survey.advicepharma.com/ind...

Caregiver: survey.advicepharma.com/ind...

Health Care Professional : survey.advicepharma.com/ind...

As always, we are very appreciative of your time and support in your participation.

I'm an afib patient but in the US, not in the UK. Should I take your survey or just walk away?

Hi HiloHairy, thank you for your message, unfortunately, on this occasion the study is open to UK residents only on this occasion. We will of course post any similar studies we receive in the future - so watch this space !

I have completed the survey, but found it hard and messy to complete. One example is the question ‘if assistance is needed is the care giver formal or informal’. There is should be N/A as an option. I was forced to select answer which was incorrect as I do not need care

Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, apologies for any confusion. I will ensure all feedback about the survey Q&A is forwarded to the NHS Trust.

Thank you again, Tracy

Just completed and agree it’s not the easiest to complete there need to be na option for certain questions. It’s also not clear in places what it’s trying to establish. On the bright side it only took 10 minutes
