Started the Dr AFib diet today and I have to say that it is pretty good. A bit of a faff but so far worth it.
Brekkie was an egg omelette with tomato and asparagus. Lunch was a chickpea stir fry with veggies and some interesting spices. Dinner is salmon and veggies with brown rice. Snacks throughout the day involves nuts and fruits and a really tasty smoothie.
I've always been a meat and 2 veg man so was rather sceptical about this but so far I'm finding it tasty and filling. We will see if it delivers the promised AFib benefits.

It will be interesting to see how you progress with this diet. Sounds good so far. Would you mind private messaging me the chickpea stir fry recipe. Many thanks.
Bizarre - I went into a "disorganised" heart rhythm about 2 hours after eating. Not like AFib more like run of ectopics - mild and asymptomatic. Stopped after 40 mins! What I would say is already I feel more energy and more alert! Watch this space
That sounds good Kennyb. I look forward to hearing how you get on with it. I love chickpeas, so would second Jeanjeannies request for the chickpea recipe if possible, please 😊
Not familiar with the "Dr. Afib Diet" but the meals you mentioned sound healthy and well balanced. Hopefully it will help your afib in the short run, but if not, it should help your heart (including afib) and the rest of you in the long run. Just don't try and eat the entire meal in one quick motion while holding your nose
My mantra is don't rely on diet alone other lifestyle changes are needed if only as an insurance policy. Furthermore more benefits can be expected aside from (hopefully!) a AF free period.
I wish I was as focused as you Kennyb. I need to knuckle down & that sounds like an interesting diet. Keep up the good work, you have inspired me. Many thanks, Sheena 🤩
